Halloween Extravaganza

We invited our ward friends over for soup and snacks on Halloween night. We fed about 30-40 people and had a great time. It was fun seeing all the different costumes, these kid's are so creative. After cleaning up, we decided to take a break. Dennis had raked a big pile of leaves that he left for our grandchildren to play in but since they weren't able to come visit we decided to not let it go to waste. Stefanie, Jaclyn, Michelle and I thought it would be fun to play in it ourselves so we jumped right in. Dennis grabbed the camera and these are pictures of our fun night!!

FLORIDA VACATION

We couldn't have ask for any better time to vacation at Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In October you find the beach warm, with tempertures in the 80's and no humidity. This year we took Missy with us. We left on Oct. 10 and returned home on the 17th. We didn't get into Florida until midnight on Friday, so the first night we stayed with Missy's friends. The second night was spent in a resort on the beach. On Sunday, we checked into our timeshare at Weston Vacation Village.

We loved the beach. Jumping waves and looking for sea shells were an enjoyment, but my favorite was sitting with Dennis in the late evening moonlight, listening to the waves from the ocean come in. I could have stayed there all night. Some of the other highlights were riding on the Jungle Queen, spending time at the Mall and a day at Key West. We went to the Sea Aquarium too. We enjoyed spending time with Missy and having her with us.
